Artwork Photography Prints

Before you is a concept that brings photography and framing together. Each frame has been carefully chosen by me and given a new life.

Once unwanted, dusty and forgotten, found in loppis shops or rescued from the rubbish, these frames have now become part of the present.

Looking at how we display photographs in our homes today and the frames we choose, I wanted to go against the grain. We love minimalism, but somewhere along the way, we have also become a little lost in black, white, grey and beige trends — clean, smooth and sometimes lacking in character.

I want to encourage you to be a little bolder, but with restraint.

The colour introduced through each frame is part of the story it holds. Some of the works even connect with one another, becoming a continuation of a story. Nothing here overwhelms anything else. Instead, the elements come together in harmony.

My need to photograph nature comes from a desire for quiet, mindfulness and the joy of noticing the little things. And this is what I want to share with you.

To inspire you to go out and look for those things yourself. To create something, without the need for perfection.

These frames, together with my observations of nature, have taught me that sometimes what is imperfect — bent, worn or weathered — can still be part of a beautiful journey.

Imperfect perfection.
